DUPLICATING PACKAGE ORDERS FOR UPCOMING EVENTS

It is often convenient to have Trak Pro "repeat" Package orders for customers that have standing or otherwise "permanent" seats throughout seasons.

How does this work?

First, you will have to select a PAST PACKAGE to serve as the "source", and then an UPCOMING PACKAGE to serve as the "target". The Packages MUST contain the same number of Attractions, the Attractions, IN ORDER, MUST take place at the SAME VENUE and have the SAME SEATING MODE, and the Individual Showings MUST have SPECIFIC DATES/TIMES pre-selected, and offer the SAME TICKET TYPES. In other words, the Packages must be "equivalent", and they cannot allow the customer to select their own date and time, since this is being done in batch.

For RESERVED SEATS, this Wizard will look up the FINAL seating assignments of Prior Events, searching for seats held by the selected Customers with the selected Package Ticket Types. When they are found, the SAME SEATS are then put into a Shopping Cart for the mapped FUTURE show in the Package.

For GENERAL ADMISSION, this Wizard will look up NON REVOKED ISSUED TICKETS of Prior Events, searching for tickets held by the selected Customers with the selected Package Ticket Types. When they are found, the SAME TICKET TYPES and QTYs are then put into a Shopping Cart for the mapped FUTURE show.

This Wizard works with the assumption that TICKET TYPES ASSIGNED to PACKAGES are separate and distinct from Ticket Types assigned to individual Attractions.

MAPPING A PREVIOUS PACKAGE TO AN UPCOMING PACKAGE

SOURCE
TARGET

When Pairing Source and Target Packages, it is important to know that the Source and Target Packages MUST have the same number of Attractions, Offer the Same Ticket Types, the Attractions IN ORDER MUST take place at the Same Venue, and that the Attractions IN ORDER MUST have the same Seating Mode. In other words, they must be functionally equivalent.

To Help prevent Mistakes, the Drop Down Lists will ONLY DISPLAY Packages with Fixed Scheduling. This Wizard will not work with Packages where the Customer can Pick Dates and Times. Additionally, once a SOURCE Package is Selected, then the TARGET Drop Down List will only display FUTURE Packages with the SAME NUMBER OF ATTRACTIONS as the Source Package.

You can Include or Exclude Ticket Types as desired, the only requirement is that you select AT LEAST ONE Ticket Type.

When you click NEXT, a FINAL CHECK will be done to insure that the SOURCE and TARGET are compatible.
